This privacy policy helps you understand how we collect, use and protect your personal data while using our websites (gipay.eu, gipay.it, gipay.org as ‘Our Sites’), our mobile applications (the ‘apps’) or if we receive your personal data for recruitment purposes.

UESE INTERNATIONAL EOOD is a company incorporated and existing under the laws of the Sofia (Bulgaria), registered in the Trade and Companies Register under number 205142105, with registered office Stolichna municipality, Lyulin district, g.k. Paynetic assumes responsibility for the processing of your personal data. This means that we are “data controllers” under the General Data Protection Regulation (also known as the GDPR). We fully comply with the GDPR and the obligation of professional secrecy imposed by European legislation. We have designated a Data Protection Officer (DPO) who is responsible for overseeing matters relating to this privacy policy. WHAT INFORMATION WE COLLECT ABOUT YOU
The personal data we collect includes:
name and surname, date of birth, gender;
identity card data;
contact information, including address, telephone number and e-mail address;
financial information, including credit / debit card details and data relating to other payment methods (although we do not keep complete payment card details) and information on where the funds come from;
identifiers assigned to your computer or other devices, including your internet protocol address (IP address).

Special categories of personal data
Paynetic does not intentionally collect any particular category of personal data (sensitive personal data) through our sites or apps, unless in certain countries this is not required by law, for example for recruitment purposes. Sensitive personal data includes: information revealing ethnic origin; political opinions; religious or philosophical beliefs; trade union membership; the processing of biometric and genetic data for the sole purpose of identifying a natural person; health data; data relating to the life or sexual orientation of a natural person; in some cases, social security number or financial information.
Safety
Paynetic undertakes to protect the confidentiality and security of the data obtained in the course of the activity. Access to such information is limited and rules and procedures are in place to safeguard data from loss, misuse and improper disclosure.
BECAUSE WE COLLECT AND STORE YOUR PERSONAL DATA
We keep personal data for the minimum period of time necessary for business purposes to offer our services and to comply with legal or regulatory obligations. We may retain your personal data for periods of time exceeding the minimum required by law if this is in our legitimate business interest and is not prohibited by law. We use cookies, web beacons and other web technologies, as appropriate, to improve your browsing experience. These technologies have limited expiration times.
HOW WE COLLECT INFORMATION ABOUT YOU
Most of the personal data we hold is provided directly by you. We collect data for example when:
visit our sites and register to receive information from us or subscribe to our newsletters;
download PDFs or other files or data from our sites;
you contact us directly, either through our call center, or via e-mail or social media;

Data we collect on social media platforms
You can participate in social media platforms that we make available. The main purpose of these social media platforms is to inform, assist and collaborate with you. We follow and record comments and posts posted on these channels in order to improve our products and services. We use a third party provider to manage our social media interactions. Private or direct messages sent to us via social media are kept for a period of three years.
Paynetic may provide links that connect to other social media platforms managed separately by individuals or organizations which are outside the control of Paynetic. Paynetic makes no representations or warranties regarding the accuracy or other aspects of the information present on these servers.
A link referring to a third party site should not be interpreted as an approval by Paynetic of such third parties or related products or services, nor vice versa. Furthermore Paynetic is not responsible for any information published on such sites that is not published by ourselves. We do not endorse the social media sites themselves, nor any information posted on them by third parties or other users.
We recommend that you consult the privacy policy of each third party site linked from our sites for information about the use of your personal data by those sites.
What information we collect when you use our call center
We use a third party provider to manage our gipay customer service phone interactions. When you make calls to our gipay call center, we collect information about the calling line identification (CLI information), as well as information about the calling person, for security purposes and for identification and verification purposes. This information is used to help you with requests and to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of our service.
We may also monitor or record calls in the event that it is necessary to verify whether we have followed your instructions correctly, to answer questions or solve problems, for regulatory purposes, to help improve the quality of service and to help detect or prevent fraud or other crimes. Conversations can be monitored and / or recorded for staff training purposes.
FOR WHAT PURPOSE WE USE AND PROCESS YOUR DATA
We will retain and use your personal data to the extent necessary to perform a contract between you and us, to comply with our legal and regulatory obligations for our legitimate interests or, for some additional purposes, on the basis of your explicit consent. Examples of how we may use your personal data include:
to administer your account (as necessary for the performance of a contract between you and us and / or as necessary for our legitimate interests);

Our legitimate interests as above (and hereafter) include our legitimate business purposes and business interests in conducting our business in a customer-focused, efficient and sustainable manner, in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
Use of your data for fraud prevention
In certain situations, before providing you with our prepaid products and services, we use your personal data to carry out checks to prevent fraud and money laundering and to verify your identity. We use a third party service provider, onFido, to verify your identity documents. We also use Lexis-Nexis to verify your name and country of residence in relation to sanctions and the list of politically exposed persons, as required by law. We may also share your data with other financial institutions and law enforcement agencies in order to prevent fraud, money laundering, terrorist financing and other financial crimes, within the limits of privacy legislation.
If we or a fraud prevention agency determine that you pose a risk of fraud or money laundering, we may refuse to provide you with any prepaid products or services you have requested. We may also stop providing existing services to you. Records of any risk of fraud or money laundering will be kept by us and by the fraud prevention agencies. It may also result in others refusing to provide you with products, services, financing or employment. If Paynetic and fraud prevention agencies process your personal data, this is done on the basis of a legitimate interest in processing your data in a way that protects our business and in accordance with the various laws in force. Such processing may also constitute a contractual obligation relating to the services you request from us.
Use of your personal data for marketing purposes
In addition to the aforementioned purposes, we may also process your personal data for marketing purposes, to send promotional information relating to similar products and services by post, e-mail, SMS and other channels, such as social media platforms, if you have given explicit consent.
